Douglas Youth Soccer closed registration for its 2026 fall season with rosters completely full, while Douglas Youth Baseball and Softball League renewed its call for volunteer coaches ahead of its own fall season.
DOUGLAS --
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Douglas Youth Soccer announced that Fall 2026 registration closed as of August 22, telling families "our teams are completely full" and wishing "good luck to all the teams this coming season." The club's field status page listed active fields for age groups from U4 through the middle school U14 track, spanning Douglas Middle School, Douglas Veterans Field, Lower Martin, and Douglas Elementary School, all updated August 22.
Separately, Douglas Youth Baseball and Softball League used its Coaches Corner update to renew its search for volunteer coaches for the fall season, saying the league is "particularly interested in coaches at the T-ball level since we have several teams competing in that division" and noting no coaching experience is required, since T-ball teams are kept small at six to eight players with equipment and guidance provided by the league. The league said it will hold a Fall 2026 pre-season coaches meeting, with location and time "forthcoming." Anyone interested in coaching can complete the league's Coach Registration Form. The league's fall baseball and softball registration for players ages 4-15, previously reported as open through September 7, remains underway.
