Other Committee · Meeting of November 4, 2026

DOUGLAS — The Douglas ADA Commission weighed moving accessible parking spaces to a level spot in front of the ramp and agreed to prepare a written proposal for its next meeting. Members logged a missing door opener at the post office entrance and a reported $50,000 Soldiers' Field project, which they plan to ask about. A member warned that moving things around "approach[es] the place where it must be ADA approved," as at the Martin Street Playground.

The commission kept its 2027 schedule, left the community survey open, and approved the Oct. 21 minutes on a four-aye roll call.
