Only One of 12 Recorded Douglas Property Transfers Discloses a Sale Price
The Worcester County Registry of Deeds recorded 12 Douglas property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only one disclosed a sale price: $150,000, for a property sold by Sherry Rothwell to BankESB and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Seven of the 12 transfers involved banks, credit unions or mortgage servicers as buyer or seller, suggesting lender-related activity, while three appear to be transfers within the same family. One sale involved a condominium unit on Eagle Drive, and one property on Lakeshore Drive transferred to Douglas Town Conservation. With pricing data disclosed in just one of 12 deeds, the period's overall market direction cannot be reliably assessed from available records.
