Staples of Uxbridge, Stephen G. Plays of Douglas, Linda J. Nydam (Douglas) of Uxbridge, and Sharon E. Emerick (Thomas) of Uxbridge; her significant other Palmer Swanson of Douglas; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N Main St, Uxbridge. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Village Congregational Church, 5 Church St, Whitinsville. Lawrence Augusta Jr., 81, of Douglas, died June 30, 2026. He is survived by his caregiver Michelle Mandeville (Lou); his siblings Curtis Burnett and Falan Rowean; his nieces Rylee, Lexi, and Taylor Rowean; and his pet Coco. Visitation will be held Monday, July 6, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St, Douglas.
